Recommendations: Business Cards

Alright everyone I need some advice. I’m working on updating my business cards and have a couple options. Let me know which one of the four you like and why/improvements to be made. The final card will have rounded edges and be high resolution. You can leave a comment in the “Leave a Reply” section.

Thanks in advance.

  1. I think they all look nice. I’m a fan of the first one because I think the picture reiterates what your research is in. Only thing I would change is center your personal information (not the UF logo and wording) allowing for a little white space on the bottom.

  2. Ditto Jevay. I like the first one because the photo is of only you and it looks like you are in the field. I would change a few things though… Say phone not cell. All they need to know is that you are reachable at that number. Also, what is the benefit of including a website that is not about you particularly?I would consider removing that.

    • I would also always reference yourself as a McKnight Doctoral Fellow instead of a GA. And… A good idea for a link would be a shortened link (like a bit.ly) that leads to a pdf of your CV.

      • Sorry for so many comments, but I would also add the M.A. Behind your name since I believe you have your masters now.

  3. Thanks for the recommendations. I put the website at the bottom because it’s an organization I helped found and I’m trying to build up the brand. Also wanted this card to serve as both a personal card and one for work at the Oral History Program. Y’all think a double-sided card may be a better option?

  4. I like the 2nd one where you’re in the dirt. i also agree with Dani’s comments about McKnight.

  5. I like the design of the first card. I also think the double-sided card is a good idea as well.
